Working across Gabon, Cameroon, and Equatorial Guinea since 2008, GCG has courageously pursued its mission of reducing maternal mortality by strengthening reproductive health services. Today, GCG is saving lives through rigorous research and reporting that uncovers the realities of young women and women’s reproductive health and care in cities and rural areas throughout the region. Founded by a dedicated group of researchers and doctoral students, GCG also works to strengthen the skills of health care providers who provide post-abortion care, conducts training on family planning methods, and hosts workshops and outreach on post-abortion care, rights, and autonomy.
