As a unique feminist space, the Knowledge Workshop serves as a critical bridge to promote stronger feminist movements in Lebanon and the MENA region. At its core, the Knowledge Workshop is a facilitator and connector, fostering dialogue between generations of activists and organizers.
KW’s oral histories ensure that women from different communities in Lebanon, including queer women and refugee women, whose voices and stories have been marginalized, take a more central position in the stories and histories that KW assembles and disseminates. As a hub for feminist knowledge sharing, with its feminist library and its work on unique feminist publications, KW also creates and facilitates connections between feminists and other social justice movements, to ensure more vibrant feminist spaces that can nurture and drive lasting change into the future.
