Movimiento Campesino de Córdoba

Argentina

The Movimiento Campesino de Córdoba is a community-based organization whose innovative work promotes access to the land, advances comprehensive agrarian reform, and builds food sovereignty. Since 2007, they have boldly incorporated a focus on gender across all of their work, with a particular determination to confront and fight the multiple forms of violence faced by peasant women. Their powerful program, The Popular Peasant Feminism (Feminismo Campesino Popular – FCyP), helps to mobilize action to end gender-based violence and promotes the leadership of girls and women as agents of lasting change. At the heart of these efforts is a firm belief that the transformation of society is not possible without challenging patriarchal structures that generate exclusion, marginalization, violence, and inequality.
