Announcing the new WVL-Caribbean Advisory Group and Appointment of Members

As International Women’s Day approaches and we celebrate the contributions and activism of women around the world, the Equality Fund is pleased to announce the creation of our Women’s Voice and Leadership - Caribbean (WVL-Caribbean) Advisory Group.

The Caribbean Advisory Group will provide insight, expertise and wisdom to guide the implementation of the WVL-Caribbean project—made possible by the Government of Canada. More specifically, the Caribbean Advisory Group will provide the Equality Fund with high-level support and advice on the main components of the project—including multi-year and responsive grantmaking, capacity-building, network and alliance building, and project sustainability.

The Equality Fund is thrilled to welcome this outstanding group of individuals and feminist leaders from across the Caribbean. Coming from different backgrounds, generations and perspectives, the group is united by their shared passion and expertise for advancing women’s rights, LBTIQ rights and gender equality in the region.
