Beth is the Policy Lead at the Equality Fund. For more than 25 years, she has advised and worked with bilateral aid agencies, UN entities, and NGOs, strengthening their work on gender equality and women’s rights across numerous sectors and countries. With a particular interest in gender equality issues before, during, and after armed conflict, she has developed analytical tools, supported policy development, designed training, provided technical support, and conducted evaluations. Beth has also carried out research, blogged, lobbied, and testified before the Canadian Parliament.

Beth is passionate about feminist funding and enjoys geeking out about gender markers, feminist foreign policy, and theories of change. In her spare time, she chairs the Women, Peace and Security Network-Canada and is in awe of brave women peacebuilders around the world.

Beth holds degrees from the University of Toronto and the University of Saskatchewan. She currently lives in Ottawa, but still has prairie dust in her veins.
