The Suriname Coalition of Sex Workers (SUCOS) is the only sex worker-led organization established in Suriname. Founded in 2018, the organization’s work is centered around the recognition and safeguard of sex workers’ human rights; the decriminalization of sex work; the creation of safe working conditions for sex workers; and the equal treatment of sex workers by the society, particularly in the health sector and within the law system.
