All Systems Go: How the Equality Fund is delivering at Year 5
We were built for this moment
In this time of massive global disruption and polarization, we are uniting diverse allies under a shared moral imperative to meet this moment with ingenuity, perseverance, and bold results. We exist to move money into the hands of women, girls and trans people implementing local solutions to the most important challenges of our time. In 2025, it becomes clearer by the day that the Equality Fund was built for this precise moment. We have proof of impact and a pioneering model that finances leaders, ideas and organizations to effectively build lasting change.
2025 is also the year we reached full independence, a milestone that has made us more nimble and responsive to movements worldwide. I’m deeply grateful to Global Affairs Canada, WUSC, Toronto Foundation, and to our incredible team and board. I’m also profoundly grateful to the many partners and allies we work with around the world.
